You may not know Rachel Freire personally, in fact you might not even be aware of her work. However I reckon I can make you picture it quite clearly – just close your eyes and think of a world where the film Tron (the original) meets up with the film Labyrinth, and you’re there!

This shot is a sneak peak at her Spring Summer 2012 collection – it’s her first ready-to-wear collection and is pretty amazing.
The more astute of you will notice that there aren’t actually any clothes in this shot, but the rings (silver casts of human vertebre) are coming over from her couture range to accompany her new collection. Rachel describes the photographic style I came up with as ‘voo-doo summer lighting storm’ which I’m happy about.
