If I had a penny for every time I took a photo of Jenny Jones I’d have a few pounds. With those pounds I’d buy a copy of Pleasure Magazine so I could see my latest photo of Jen in beautiful 300dpi web-printed CMYK goodness. Actually I’d probably spend it on a nice cold drink right now as I’ve just eaten a veggie burger and I found it quite salty.
I’m straying away from the point of this post.
The point of this post dear reader, and I say ‘dear reader’ fairly accurately as you’ll probably be the only person who reads this! Not because this isn’t a nice website – I’m quite proud of it! It’s just that m at this point in time, I have yet to work out the best way of getting people to look at it. So of the tens (or occasionally hundreds) of people that look at the site, only a small percentage actually read it and the law of averages state that of those who do, this single post (and the words I’m typing right now) will only be read by a small percentage of that percentage. So I’ll go on, but do appreciate the effort I’m putting in as I may as well have written you an email and sacrificed only a single page hit.
I’m digressing again! I’ll start again…
2012 has just started, an Olympic year for the UK and that has bought to mind the Sochi Olympics in a few years time and Jenny Jones is one of the UK’s brightest lights hoping to medal in 2014. So much so, moments ago, Jenny was interviewed on the BBC’s ‘Ski Sunday’ – (the UK’s only dedicated mountain snow-sports program) which reminded me that I hadn’t posted this image!
As those eagle eye’d amongst you might have noticed, there is a little bit of photoshop going on in this image. When I say ‘a little’, I actually mean ‘a lot’, in fact it’s mainly photoshop! The rain isn’t real, the men are actually one man, the taxi wasn’t there, the background is off another image and the puddle was put in afterwards!
I don’t know why I did it that way, it was the plan from the start, I guess I like doing stuff like that from time to time, variety is the spice of life as they say, anyway, the magazine’s website can be found here if you want to look at a smaller skewed version of it.. pleasuremag.com
